On their return to Hammond Stadium, the Red Sox experienced a different outcome from their previous visit to the Twins on Wednesday. This time it was a win for the Sox over the Twins with a score of two to one. Single runs in the top of the sixth and the seventh innings (homerun by Kevin Youkilis) were all the runs Boston needed. Minnesota scored their only run in the bottom of the eighth inning.
