Boston Tops Toronto

The Boston Red Sox traveled to Dunedin to play a preseason game with the Toronto Blue Jays. The Red Sox came away with a win against the Blue Jays. Scoring began in the top of the first inning with Boston's first run and continued with a homerun by Jeff Bailey in the top of the second. Toronto scored in the bottom of the second inning with a two-run homer by Travis Snider. The Red Sox answered with another homerun in the top of the third inning provided by Jed Lowrie. The final two runs scored by the Blue Jays came on single runs in the bottom of the fourth and seventh innings. Chris Carter had the third Red Sox homerun of the day in the top of the fifth and single runs in the top of the seventh and eighth innings completed Boston's scoring in the game. The Red Sox won the game over the Blue Jays six to four.
